How the index is composed
BIST Participation Dividend consists of the shares that are in both BIST Participation All Shares and the BIST Dividend index (Ground Rules, October 2026, sections 3.28 and 6.15). The BIST Dividend index consists of the shares of companies that paid a cash dividend in the last 3 years (section 3.24).
Next period
The next period starts on May 1, 2027. Borsa Istanbul is expected to announce the new list by April 29, 2027 at the latest (Ground Rules 2.17).
Because the index holds the shares that are on both lists, it can also change when the BIST Dividend index changes. The BIST Dividend index periods start in February, May, August and November (Ground Rules 2.17).
